A trip to college basketball’s hallowed ground turned into a rough outing for the Alaska Anchorage women’s basketball team Sunday as the Seawolves dropped a 100-32 exhibition decision to host Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium.And the Seawolves, ranked No. (8) in the Division II [preseason] poll, behind nine points from senior waiting Tamar Gruwell, who was recorded in the first half of the lead. Gruwell completion of the 3 - 6 from three point range, while senior forward Nicci Miller counted six points and six of the bonds.

Student forward Hanna Johansson scored four points and led the ÚÄÄ with three assists, while the smaller guard Nikki Aden five points, two assists and no turnover in 24 minutes.
The Seawolves begin their regular season in one week when they host the first of two games against Hawaii-Hilo, Sunday, Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex
